For manufacturers.

A review-unit programme built around useful coverage, original evidence and clear editorial terms.

Launch-stage publication

We are building a useful body of work.

Tech Standpoint is an independent technology publication serving readers in Canada and the United States. Our coverage includes phones, computing, audio, gaming, cameras, smart home devices, wearables, 3D printers and robotics. The current library contains 180 research reviews across 16 departments, with source links, manufacturer photography, ownership analysis and comparison tools.

We are interested in physical review units that let us extend this research into documented real-world use and original photographs. We make no claim about an established audience size, historic traffic, awards or previous brand partnerships. Those figures will be shared only when measured and verifiable.

What makes a useful review proposal.

  • The exact product name, SKU, intended market and current product page.
  • Manuals, relevant technical documentation and an editorial contact for factual questions.
  • A clear statement of whether the unit is a loan, a gift or a proposed paid placement.
  • Any return deadline, shipping arrangements, required installation or special operating conditions.
  • Written terms for permitted editorial use of supplied photographs and other media.

How a physical evaluation would work.

Before accepting a unit, we will agree on the proposed scope, a practical evaluation period and the return arrangements when applicable. The article will identify the source of the unit and the circumstances of its evaluation. Original photographs and observations will be distinguished from supplied media and manufacturer specifications.

The proposed scope may include setup, representative tasks, maintenance, software and connectivity, ownership limitations and a later follow-up. Timing depends on the machine, weather, installation and the questions being investigated. Acceptance of a unit does not guarantee a favourable verdict, a particular ranking or a recommendation.

Editorial terms.

Manufacturers may supply documentation and identify factual errors. Editorial conclusions remain with the publication. We do not provide pre-publication approval of a verdict, guarantee do-follow links as a condition of coverage, or disguise paid promotion as an independent review. Any future sponsorship or affiliate arrangement will be labelled.

Contact and shipping.

Send review-unit proposals to editorial@techstandpoint.com. Include the model, region, proposed unit terms and the technical contact. Shipping details are provided privately after an evaluation is agreed.

The media kit describes the publication as it exists today. It contains no fabricated audience figures or partnership claims.
